About The Practice

Dr. Diaa Allahham is your American board certified orthodontist. He attained his dental degree from Egypt. Upon graduation, he pursued his lifelong dream to continue his father’s legacy of orthodontics and to become the fourth orthodontist in his family. Dr. Allahham successfully completed the preceptorship program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Eastman Institute for Oral Health. He continued his education at University of Rochester, where he received his Master’s in Oral Science in Clinical and Translational Sciences and obtained his certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. During his time at the University of Rochester he received two awards for his Master's project on Invisalign. Dr. Allahham successfully achieved second place in The Northeastern Society of Orthodontists (NESO) and in the prestigious Dr. William Proffit resident scholar award program. His thesis focused on The association between non-extraction clear aligner therapy and alveolar bone dehiscences and fenestrations in adults with mild to moderate crowding by using Cone beam computed tomographic (CBCT) images. Dr. Allahham was published for his thesis in the top Orthodontics journal AJO-DO (American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics). He enjoys his time in Houston, TX. Dr. Allahham is thankful and thrilled to be a part of the Allahham orthodontic family. Dr. Diaa is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. During his free time, he enjoys playing ping pong, working out, kayaking, snorkeling, and spending time with family and friends.
